DIY Cucumber Mint Sugar Scrub Recipe
This diy cucumber mint sugar scrub is ideal for rejuvenating dry, flaky skin. Have you ever thought why people place slices of cucumbers on their puffy eyes? There is a reason for that. Not only cucumbers are rich source of antioxidants, but in fact they are also very soothing to the skin. So, obviously if they are good for your eyes, they must be good for the rest of your skin too.

Basic DIY Cucumber Mint Sugar Scrub
Note: As this scrub contains cucumber, so to make it last longer you would need to store in in refrigerator. Though, this way it would thicken up quite a bit, but it still will work just fine. If you like, you can take it out a few minutes before you are going to use it so it will soften up a bit.
You will need:
(i) Cucumber: 1, large size
(ii) Mint leaves: 2 tablespoons, fresh
(iii) Sugar: 2 ½ cups, granulated
(iv) Olive oil: 4 tablespoons, extra virgin
Method:
(i) Puree the cucumber and mint together in a blender.
(ii) Take a medium size glass bowl and put all the ingredients in it, namely, pureed cucumber, mint and olive oil.
(iii) Stir the mixture until it’s mixed uniformly. Depending upon your choice you may add more or less sugar to have the mixture of desired consistency (thickness).
(iv) Divide the scrub between your preferred airtight storage containers. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
